The applications of laser cleaning in the maintenance of rail transit equipment are mainly reflected in: vehicle body maintenance, component maintenance, inspection, flaw detection and repainting procedures of key structural parts such as bogies and so on.
It is mainly used for cleaning metal components of couplers for passenger and electric locomotives, including coupler bodies, knuckles, thrust blocks, lock blocks, safety hangers, equalizing beams and other parts. It removes contaminants such as surface grease, paint and dust.

• Highly integrated design: the cleaning machine integrates a cooling system and fume purifier as a single unit, capable of harsh working conditions including outdoor high temperature and long-duration continuous operation;
• Optimized dust removal: customized for heavily contaminated workpieces, it delivers efficient synchronous dust extraction during cleaning, eco-friendly and protective of occupational health.
Collector ring parts inside gearboxes are highly susceptible to rust, which severely impairs gearbox quality, operational stability and the service life of the entire transmission system. Conventional cleaning methods for collector rings are mechanical cleaning and chemical cleaning, which have drawbacks such as severe pollution, inconsistent cleaning quality and low automation level. Laser cleaning for rust on train collector rings achieves a surface cleanliness grade of Sa2.
